RE/MAX Chairman's Club
Introducing Stephanie Clark, real estate sales and marketing specialist at RE/MAX Alliance. Stephanie earned a BBA from James Madison University in 1990 where she majored in marketing. She began her real estate career in 1991 as Fran Rohdenburg's Marketing Administrator, and in that same year qualified to receive her Virginia real estate license.
She began her selling career in late 1996 and qualified for the prestigious Circle of Excellence award in 1997, her first full year in sales. She earned her GRI (Graduate of the Realtor's Institute) in 1998, which requires 96 hours of intense training in a multitude of real estate topics. In 2000, she earned her Accredited Buyer Representative (ABR) designation. Stephanie consistently is a member of the Hampton Roads Realtors Association Circle of Excellence - recognizing sales achievement. In 2009 & 2010, she won the Platinum award and earned membership in RE/MAX International's Chairman's Club.
While her sales volume ranks her in the top 5% of local Realtors, Stephanie still oversees the team's marketing and advertising programs in addition to working with buyers and sellers. She makes sure our sellers get maximum and creative exposure to the market in order to get their homes sold in the shortest amount of time, for the best price. She also gets rave reviews from the buyers she helps, with words like "thorough," "knowledgeable," "sensitive," and "responsive," heard over and over from her clients. In addition to listing and selling homes, Stephanie is also an experienced property manager. With over fifteen years of managing investment properties for her clients, Stephanie is one of the best in town! Beginning with a single property back in 1996, Stephanie now manages over 75 single family homes, townhouses and condos all over Virginia Beach, Chesapeake and Norfolk. She loves caring for homes, screening and securing great tenants, keeping owners informed and delivering world class service to everyone. With her pool of trusted contractors, Stephanie knows right where to go when her properties need attention. Stephanie is often told by her owner clients that she is the best property manager with whom they have ever worked.

Additional Team Members:
To begin the pre-approval process, you'll want to talk with a reputable mortgage lender. Based on your income, assets, debt and credit score, the lender can tell you how much you can borrow at available interest rates and discount points.
The Closing Agent is responsible for preparing and processing all of the legal documents necessary to "close" the loan and transfer title to the property In Virginia, the Closing Agent may be an attorney or, alternately, a title company, which performs basically the same functions at a slightly lower price. For the monetary savings, you would give up having legal representation. For additional imformation or answers to specific questions, feel free to contact:
American Home Title (757) 490-7067, heather@amhometitle.com, www.American-Home-Title.com
Christina Meier (757) 313-1161, cmeier@cmeierlaw.com
Every new mortgage requires an appraisal to determine the value of the property. The appraisor reports directly to the lender, as to whether market value substantiates the sales price on the purchase agreement. Appraisors may also used for insurance and estate valuations.
Robert Bell & Associates (757) 340-4546, rjbappraisals@verizon.net
The inspection takes approximately 2-3 hours and you will receive an assessment of all the elements in the house. We will schedule the inspection for you; however, if you have any questions, you can contact your inspector directly. The cost of the home inspection is usually between $200-$400.
We typically use Ken Melton Inspection Services (757) 395-4430, kenmelton@cox.net
In our area, all mortgages are subject to a "clear" termite/moisture letter. The inspector checks the home for all manner of wood destroying infestation, including mold and mildew, and for moisture damage around the base and under the house.
We typically use Hampton Roads Termite and Pest Control (757) 436-3333 or Universal Pest (757) 502-0200 www.UniversalPest.com
